Workflow

The Silverpeas^TM workflow engine is targeted at:

• Top management, to increase efficiency in company organisation and work practices, when planning and time management is crucial for the return on investment

• Project managers, to structure activity and information-sharing between teams

• Methods and qualité managers who want a tool to rationalize work throught out the company

• IT system administrators who are looking for a solution which is quick easy and reliable to use

• Users who do not have specialist IT knowledge but who are looking for fast and easy tools to set up and get quickly up and running 

• Supervisors, for monitoring procedures and follow-up, with contribution from each person

• Managing parallel tasks, for example sending multiple emails with conditional validation requests

• Workflow processes and forms which are described in XML files, and automatically generated for graphic designers:
   

• Workflow processes, associated to a folder constituted of groups items (fields). The items appear in forms associated with an action (forms can be adapted to other user languages).

• Actions which are are adapted to users according to their role.
  

• Actions which can be conditional.

• Folders to be attached to files “with a specific version”.
