Integration

The integration consists in putting to work Silverpeas within the information system of our customers.

This integration is facilitated by hosting the solution on your network, but can also be done from an outsourced platform.

These works consist of:

     Log Silverpeas to your corporate directory (LDAP or Microsoft Active Directory)
     Provide access to your "business" applications via a server SSO (eg CAS) or a client SSO (configured links)
     Embed the home pages, and datas from various sources (schedules, restaurant menus, holidays, weather, etc.).
     Import or reuse your file servers entries.

Moste of these tasks are technical, and are generally conducted in collaboration with IT department of our customers.

Silverpeas is a completely customizable Java-based collaborative platform. It enables the quick set-up of an Intranet and CACW (Computer assistated collaborative work) tools and gives centralised access to business applications.
Built around collaborative spaces, the user themsleves can define the organisation and deployment of a range of tools such as content management, document management or knowledge management, collaborative tools ( workflow, project management, shared diaries, yellow pages, blog, wikis, etc...) to suit their own needs.
